FAS: 15 years in 15 historic achieVements for the Amazon Since 2008, the Foundation for Amazon Sustainability is present in Amazonian territories, together with their populations, creating solutions that promote sustainable development in the region. The collaborative practice and systemic view of FAS are represented in the strategic axes of action: We invite you to learn about the history and achievements of one of the main socio-environmental organizations in the Amazon. Understand how the FAS programs contribute to forest conservation and the quality of life of thousands of Amazonians. FAS operates through networks and alliances with more than 300 partners from academy, civil society, governments, multilateral organizations, private companies and social movements.
