Nature and people at the heart of our work Since 2008, the Foundation for Amazon Sustainability (FAS) has developed solutions to one of the greatest challenges of our time: improving the quality of life of Amazonian populations while protecting the forest together with Indigenous, riverine and quilombola communities. Represented by a framework mandala, FAS's approach brings together areas such as environmental conservation, education and citizenship, health and well-being, community infrastructure and the sociobioeconomy — connecting people, territories and opportunities to promote the sustainable development of the Amazon.
