The Sustainable Amazon Foundation (FAS) is a Brazilian non-governmental organization, non-for profit motives, of state and federal public utility. It was created on February 8th, 2008 by means of a partnership between the Amazonas State Government and Bradesco Bank. Today FAS has 210 partnerships with research institutions, private companies, governmental institutions, social organizations and other non-governmental organizations. BOLSA FLORESTA PROGRAM The Bolsa Floresta Program (PBF) is a public state policy instituted by the Govern of Amazonas in 2007. Its creation was a historical milestone in the promotion of sustainable development of great relevance on national scale and on international as well.
